How It Works

Step 1
Instant Quote
You can either get an instant quote or send us your files and we’ll send you a quote. You will then be able to choose the material, colour, etc. If you’ve chosen instant quote and you’re happy with the price you can go ahead and place the order online. If you are unsure of the best materials, settings, etc. please get in touch and we will happily give our recommendations.
Step 2
3D Printing
Once we have received your order, we will get to work 3D printing your file(s) and will have them ready by the agreed date.
Step 3
Collection or Delivery
Once the 3D prints have been completed they can either collected from our Portsmouth studio or delivered to anywhere in the UK.

Our 3D printing service is a cost-effective way of producing unique objects, prototypes and custom parts. We have a focus on affordability especially for large batches of 3D prints. The pricing is calculated based on the volume of material used

3D Printing Types

We have both FDM and SLA 3D Printers

FDM 3D Printing

Filament Based

FDM 3D printing uses a spool of filament that extruded onto a build plate in a creates the object layer by layer. It is the more cost-effective method of 3D printing and can be used to make both small and large object that have a good strength.

SLA 3D Printing

Resin Based

SLA 3D printing uses a liquid resin that turns solid when exposed to UV light. The build plate is lowered down into the resin and the object is created upside-down layer by layer as the build plate raises up. It is ideal for small highly detailed objects and the print quality is generally being better than FDM 3D printing, however, it is a little more expensive.

PLA

PLA is the most common FDM 3D printing material because it gives a great quality finish and provides a good amount of strength.

Resin

Resin is used on SLA 3D printers and gives a really good quality finish, parts have a good strength too.
